Cooking Adventure in Italy!

Join Chef Bette as we take a trip to the Gastronomic Heart of Northern Italy to visit her friend and esteemed cooking teacher Giuliano Hazan. Giuliano is the author of four excellent books on Italian cooking and was the 2007 International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Cooking Teacher of the Year Award. A James Beard Award Nominee for his first book on pasta, Giuliano is a gifted teacher and will share with you his love for Italian cuisine. A TODAY Show regular, Giuliano will share with you his lifelong passion for Italian food, wine and culture.



Giuliano, learned his craft at an early age from the doyen of modern Italian cuisine, his mother, Marcella Hazan. He has mastered the simple, genuine flavors of Italian cuisine and is now one of the foremost authorities on Italian cooking.

Our week long adventure is at the incomparable Villa Giona, near the romantic city of Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. You will participate in hands on cooking classes, and adventures into the surrounding countryside. Classes will also include wine presentations by Marilisa Allegrini of the famed Allegrini Winery, known from their Amarone, and La Poja wines and have received Italy's prestigious "Tre Bicchieri" award, given to wines deemed to be the best in Italy.
